Maria Kanellis Says ROH Women Division Is In Good Hands With Tony Khan

Tony Khan’s recent purchase of Ring Of Honor came as a shock to many. This move was entirely unexpected. As fans wonder what Tony has planned for the future of ROH, the star of the promotion, Maria Kanellis, has chimed in on the subject.

Earlier, Ringside News took to Twitter reporting Tony’s plans for his newly purchased ROH, to which Maria quote tweeted and wrote about what she thinks about the promotion being under the AEW president.

I don’t know whether this means a weekly TV show, just PPV, a streaming deal, or something else but I remain hopeful that ROH is in good hands with @TonyKhan and we will see more from the @ringofhonor Women’s Division!! #ROHWD

It is apparent that Maria has high hopes for ROH now that it is finally in the hands of Tony Khan, and she wishes to see more from the Women’s division.

WWE released Maria Kanellis and her husband Mike Bennett in April 2020 as part of the COVID-19 budget cuts. The couple eventually returned to ROH and remained there until the company went on hiatus last year.
