Tony Khan shocked the pro wrestling world once again when he announced a big purchase. Khan is now the proud owner of ROH, but this is just the beginning.

Ringside News was told that talent have been informed that “Supercard of Honor will be happening.” Word going around is that the event is slated to take place on April 1st in Dallas, Texas on WrestleMania weekend.

We were also told that Supercard of Honor XV will not be the final ROH branded event. Talent have informed us they were told that, as of this writing, “television tapings are still on.”

It is likely that ROH will not have Sinclair’s broadcasting base to air their show. It is expected that a new deal will be reached elsewhere. We were told that, “the TV is working out a deal. Not Sinclair.” There is “no deal right now but tapings will be held and it’s believed it’ll be on TNT or really any Turner channel.”

Anything can happen with television deals, so things can fall through. It is also possible that a new opportunity will open up. Obviously, there is a lot going on as Tony Khan figures out what to do with his recently purchased pro wrestling company. It seems that TK wanted ROH for more than just their tape library.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
