ROH has been on hiatus for several months, and the followers were unsure if the company would ever make its comeback. Fightful has discovered more about their ambitions for the future. Ring of Honor is officially expected to return on April 1 for Supercard of Honor.

It has also been revealed that ROH has been reaching out to new names to utilize in their comeback. The new stars are expected to be wrestling on a freelance basis. They also plan to adapt this freelance structure with their contracts moving forward.

Fightful Select heard of ROH reaching out to new faces to put on their show as far back as January, with some of those revealed tonight. Those that we’ve heard about will be working on a freelance basis, which is what we’ve been told to expect for the majority of the people involved in the brand moving forward. However, there are tentative dates set well past April, all the way up until the end of the year that involve television tapings.

Several wrestlers from outside companies have been hired for the Supercard of Honor event, but they had to acquire approval first. As reported earlier, overtures for a prospective sale or cooperation had been made. Even before the hiatus, there had been inquiries regarding the expense of acquiring the company in the prior two years.
