Ring of Honor recently announced that they would be starting their own Hall of Fame. The history of ROH has seen some incredible names. Virtually every top wrestling star of today in every company spent some time in Ring of Honor.

CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and more spent significant portions of their careers in Ring of Honor. The promotion is legendary for the amount of talent that walked through its doors. There should be no shortage of deserving names for the new Hall of Fame.

Samoa Joe is considered one of the greatest stars to ever wrestle for Ring of Honor. Joe brought an unfamiliar, hard-hitting style to American wrestling while he was with the company. After ROH made their HOF announcement, fans immediately got Joe’s name trending on Twitter.

“An ROH Hall of fame is pretty cool but you best bet I’m campaigning for my boy Samoa Joe to I’m first. Man was best in the world at one point and I will not hear otherwise”

“Samoa Joe sure feels like a perfect first inductee for ROH’s Hall of Fame. There’s about 20 others that do too but feels natural.”

“If I were to make the first ROH HOF class mine would be Samoa Joe, Colt Cabania, Jimmy Jacobs, Xiaver, and the Briscoes”

“The Briscoes, Sara Del Rey, Samoa Joe, Bobby Cruise, Gabe Sapolsky, Todd Sinclair & a legends pick in Eddie Guerrero. All important figures who contributed to ROH in major ways.”

ROH will fill several of their weekly TV time slots with new HOF inductions. The first wrestler will be announced on January 24, 2022. We’ll see if the recently-released Samoa Joe is the first inductee in the new ROH Hall of Fame.
