Roman Reigns’ stock continues to rise by the day since his return to the company back at WWE SummerSlam in 2020. He returned as the Tribal Chief and truly reinvented himself. The change was several years in the making as fans wanted it for so long.

Some of the security guards utilized in the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns contract signing moment on SmackDown may have been familiar to indie wrestling fans.

Traxx from NWA was one of the major stars who got F’5 by Brock Lesnar, and JGeorge was the guard who took the suplex. The other security guards used for the part were mostly indie wrestling students and grads. Many of them train with WWE Producer Pat Buck at WrestlePro New Jersey or Create A Pro in New York.

SmackDown from the GIANT Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania was totally sold out yesterday, as we reported. Surprisingly, the event had the largest box office in the venue’s history. Because the event was so popular, none of the performers received complimentary tickets to the show.

The FTX Arena in Miami, FL will host the live SmackDown on Friday. The current lineup for next week’s show is listed below:

* Ronda Rousey vs. Sonya Deville

* SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos defend against The Viking Raiders

* WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn defends against Ricochet

Roman Reigns successfully defended his WWE Universal Championship against Goldberg at WWE Elimination Chamber. Brock Lensar also won the WWE Title at the same event. The two are now set to square off against each other at WrestleMania 38 in a winner takes all affair.
