Angelico has been associated with the Jacksonville-based promotion since 2019. He has worked all major All Elite Wrestling (AEW) programs in addition to performing at the YouTube-only AEW Dark: Elevation. Angelico is also one of the handful of wrestlers who are expected to leave AEW this year.

Angelico is still on the mend from serious damage he had suffered. The AEW star revealed on social media that he tore his ACL and meniscus near the end of 2021. As part of his recovery, he also shared a video of himself balancing and squatting on high bars, stating that things are going well and that he is far ahead of schedule.

Angelico hasn’t fought since defeating Invictus Khash on AEW Dark on December 14, which was taped on December 3 last year. In his tweet, Angelico added the good news that his recovery is well ahead of the schedule. He also teased the fans stating that his comeback might be sooner than expected.

Official Announcement: Unfortunately the bad news is I can confirm the rumors. I suffered a torn ACL and meniscus at the end of 2021. The good news as you can see below, is that my recovery is well ahead of schedule and my return to the ring is just around the corner!

It is still unclear when Angelico will make his comeback to the ring. In AEW, he was frequently paired with Jack Evans as TH2. On television, the group was a component of the Hardy Family Office. Ringside News wishes a speedy recovery to Angelico.
