AJ Styles Could Earn As Much As Goldberg With New WWE Contract

AJ Styles has been touted as one of the best pro wrestlers by both fans and wrestlers alike. He has competed in numerous promotions all over the world, including the likes of TNA, NJPW and now WWE. It seems he is in the upper echelon as far as earning in WWE is concerned.

As reported earlier, AJ Styles recently signed new contract with WWE, where he will be making $3 million a year. This is because WWE sees a lot of value in AJ Styles and wanted to ensure he sticks with the company for a long time.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AJ Styles’ new WWE contract puts him in one of the top-earning positions in the company. He is said to be earning as much as Goldberg, Edge and The Miz.

If the number is correct, it would put Styles in the top echelon when it comes to money behind Lesnar, Reigns, Rousey and Orton that we know of and Edge, Goldberg and it is believed Miz are the guys right underneath the top four that he’d be at the same level with. Owens was believed to be the next highest guy but if this number is accurate it would be above what Owens just signed for.

AEW also made no play to get AJ Styles either. It remains to be seen what the company has in store for The Phenomenal One as he is in it for the long run.
