Canyon Ceman was WWE’s Senior Vice President of Talent Development, but he was let go last year. He also had bit of heat on him before his release. It didn’t take him long to land a new gig.

According to Fightful the ex Senior Vice President of Talent Development is now a Chief Athletic Officer for Obesh. His hiring took place eariler this month.

Ceman was hired by Obsesh earlier this month as Chief Athlete Officer, where he’ll help advocate and aid athletes monetize their skills, personality and brands. When we reached out to someone near the company, we were told that Ceman’s experience with WWE’s developmental NXT brand, and his NCAA experience were major points of attraction to landing him the spot.

WWE had Canyon Ceman around for around a decade before letting him go. The company has let go of several tenured employees over the last year in the name of consolidation and budget cuts.

In case you didn’t know, Obsesh is a platform, similar to Cameo, for athletes. No pro wrestlers are currently on the platform. We will have to see if that changes.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
