Keith Lee has been having an incredible year so far. The Limitless One was released from WWE at the end of 2021. He married Mia Yim in early February. Lee debuted for AEW with an impressive victory to qualify for the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match where he will compete for a shot at the TNT Championship. Keith had one more thing to celebrate before going on the road full time with All Elite Wrestling.
Mia Yim was released from WWE on the same day as Keith Lee. The couple took what could have been devastating news and made it a positive. Their wedding went on as planned and several big names from the world of wrestling attended.
Keith Lee was notably absent from this week’s AEW Dynamite. Lee had an excellent reason. Tony Khan allowed him time off to go on his honeymoon with his new bride, according to Dave Meltzer in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
“Keith Lee was off TV this week because of his honeymoon. He did come in just days after his wedding to kick off his run and then was to be given the next week off.”
AEW fans are very excited to see what Keith Lee can bring to the table. Lee’s combination of size, agility, and power make him a unique talent. It’s his charisma that sets him apart from so many other wrestlers.
Keith Lee will be back with AEW soon. Hopefully, he had a great time on his honeymoon. Congratulations once again to Keith Lee and Mia Yim!
