Retribution was called up to the WWE main roster, but those plans didn’t pan out. The group was disbanded and Mia Yim, as Reckoning, was taken off television. Now she won’t get a chance to re-emerge.

Mia Yim was just drafted to the red brand as part of the 2021 WWE Draft. She has been backstage, ready to go, but they never gave her anything to do. Mia Yim was sadly cut from her WWE contract today.

Sean Sapp was able to confirm that Mia Yim was part of today’s slew of releases.

Fightful has confirmed Mia Yim has been released by WWE

Mia Yim lost her job on the same day that Keith Lee was released. WWE also released Karrion Kross and Scarlett as a couple. All of those releases were very interesting choices by Vince McMahon’s company.

This is a frustrating situation, especially for fans of Mia Yim who pulled for her to succeed in WWE. We will continue covering this ongoing story here at Ringside News.
