Nia Jax was one of the mainstays of WWE television since she was called up to the main roster in 2016. She is former RAW Women’s Champion and a two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.

Nia Jax is also one of the most controversial Superstars in the company. She gained notoriety for being an unsafe worker and having injured several of her peers over the years.

While speaking on The Sessions with Renee Paquette, Jax recalled meeting with Vince McMahon where do refused to get vaccinated.

“I was choosing not to go and get the vaccine. And it was a personal choice, and I remember sitting down with Vince because the whole entire two years I was there we were tested every day. I never popped positive, I never caught COVID the whole time. And it was like ‘well kid, you’re not going to be able to fulfill some of your contractual duties.’ And I was like ‘well if that’s the case, then that’s the case.’ It’s a business and I understand you’ve got to run your business. But I made a decision for myself, and I stood by how I felt,”

Nia Jax already addressed her release and made it clear she was not fired due to her vaccination status. It was said that her release was way for WWE to send a message. We will have to wait and see what will become of Nia Jax now that her pro wrestling career is seemingly over for good.
