Unfortunately, he was recently released from WWE. To add to that, Jeff Hardy even turned down rehab prior to his firing. News of his release has truly shocked the pro wrestling world to its core and many people reacted to it.

As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite: Beach Break, Sammy Guevara squared off against Cody Rhodes to determine the Unduspited TNT Champion. One of the highlights of the match saw Sammy Guevara executing a cutter from a ladder while Rhodes was on another ladder.

This drew lots of comparisons to Jeff Hardy, who made a career out of death-defying moves. Fans took to Twitter and discussed their excitement about the spot which led to Hardy trending on social media.
