AEW got a bit of press today when Lio Rush announced that he is not going to be with the company after his deal expires on February 14th. That Valentine’s Day departure sparked the rumor mill and Big Swole’s name also trended. It turns out that Rush is not alone.

According to a report from PW Insider, even more AEW stars are expected to leave the company in the next thirty to sixty days. This is due to contracts running out and Tony Khan not renewing them for one reason or another. It is also possible that certain stars have opted out of renewing their deals.

It is also not AEW’s plan to announce departures from the company, so it might be up to the talent to do that.

There are several contracts coming up that will not be renewed in addition to the departing Rush, who announced today his deal expires next month.

We are told that AEW will not be announcing the departures but will instead let the deals quietly lapse.

We will have to see who leaves the company at this point. AEW added a lot of names to their roster in the past year and some of those early signees are seeing their deals come to an end. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more updates.
