Big Swole Trends After Lio Rush Announces He Is Leaving AEW

Lio Rush announced today that his AEW contract is expiring on Valentine’s Day and that he will be a free agent. Rush signed with Tony Khan’s company in September. A controversy over comments made by former AEW star Big Swole about problems with diversity led Lio to demand an apology when Tony Khan was dismissive in his response. Rush has apparently not been able to mend fences and will now move on.

Big Swole was disappointed by Khan’s reaction. Lio Rush demanded an apology. After that, Lio disappeared from AEW TV.

Fans took to Twitter to discuss Lio’s decision to leave AEW behind. Swole was mentioned so many times that her name started trending.
