Ethan Page is well known as a huge geek. Page produces a weekly vlog on YouTube where toy hunts, conventions, and other nerdy stuff provide a huge chunk of the content. All Ego takes a part of his passions everywhere he goes, including in the AEW ring.
Page has been a polarizing figure during his time in AEW. Many believe he is being underutilized by Tony Khan’s promotion. Ethan might wish for a more prominent spot on the card, but he believes AEW treats their employees right.
Ethan Page recently talked about how he brings his geeky interests to the ring for each bout. The AEW star spoke to Crisis on Infinite Podcasts. There, Page shared some of his superstitions.
“I’m always wearing either Doctor Strange socks or Deadpool socks. I have two pairs, and I have to double layer my socks because I ordered a pair of crappy boots from Mexico that sucked.
It’s not even a ritual thing, but I think maybe it’s like a superstitious thing. I remember when I had to get a new pair of boots. I was heartbroken. I thought my career was over. I had worn those boots for the last 12 years. It’s like, they’re good luck. So I thought a new pair of boots would be a jinx.”
Ethan Page signed with AEW last spring and made his debut at the Revolution pay-per-view. Championship gold has eluded Page thus far. Ethan says he’s a future world champion.
