WALTER beat Roderick Strong in the main event of NXT 2.0 this week. Following the match, WALTER jerked the microphone out of the ring announcer’s hand and made it clear that his name is now Gunther.

This was followed by Imperium performing a beatdown on the Diamond Mine. It appears that WALTER has a new name. It is interesting that they did not drop his last name, but Gunther appears to be WALTER’s new name in NXT.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
