Bron Breakker Thinks It’s Cool People Compare Him To Brock Lesnar

Rick Steiner’s son Bron Breakker has been a force to be reckoned with ever since he debuted in NXT 2.0 last year. His popularity soared every passing week and it is unlikely to stop anytime soon. It seems he addressed being compared to Brock Lesnar.

As seen on this week’s NXT New Year’s Evil event, Bron Breakker challenged Tommaso Ciampa for the NXT Championship in the main event of the show. In a true passing of the torch moment, Bron Breakker defeated Tommaso Ciampa for the title.

While speaking with Sporting News, Bron Breakker addressed being compared to Brock Lesnar. Breakker made it clear that while he does appreciate the comparison, he will pave his own path in WWE.

“I just take it one day at a time, to be honest with you. Brock is the man. He’s been the man for a long time. He’s done tons of great things in the WWE and obviously went to the UFC to become the champion. If people say that I’m on the same directory as him then that’s pretty cool. He’s awesome. But I take it a day at a time and focus on the task at hand. I’m just trying to get better each and every day.”

Bron Breakker also celebrated his huge NXT Championship win with his father. It remains to be seen how he will be booked in the coming months.
