Beth Phoenix Returns At WWE Day 1

WWE Day 1 was a loaded event, and although some things needed to be changed, one big surprise still took place as planned. Beth Phoenix just recently stepped down from NXT commentary, but it didn’t take her very long to wind up on the main roster once again.

The Miz and Maryse tried hard to get under Edge’s skin, but the Rated R Superstar’s wife could only take so much before she had to do something about it.

Near the end of The Miz and Edge’s match, Maryse was getting involved, but then Beth Phoenix made an appearance. The Glamazon’s music played and she came down looking very upset.

Beth Phoenix ran Maryse off and then Edge hit the spear on The Miz for the win. This was quite a way to end this match. We will have to see if it results in a mixed-tag team match eventually as so many have speculated.
