Kick-Off Show

We’re live at the arena and the Kick-Off panel is hosted by Kayla Braxton, Kevin Patrick, Booker T, and Peter Rosenberg. The panel announce that Roman Reigns has been pulled from the Day 1 card due to COVID-19. Brock Lesnar will therefore join the WWE Championship match, making it a Fatal 5-Way.

We see a video package of the feud between Edge and The Miz. The panel is laughing at The Miz and Maryse being drenched by Edge’s Broodbath, and The Miz walks up. Miz says they’re laughing at his pain. He gets that Edge is a hero and he’s loved by the fans, yet when he came back nobody cared. Rosenberg says those things aren’t comparable. Miz says when he was injured he didn’t take any time off. Miz talks about his appearance on Dancing With The Stars and says tonight he will be awesome. He’s already earned respect and, after tonight, no-one will be able to argue with that.

A video airs for the match between Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch. Sonya Deville has joined the panel and she says Liv is ready to step-up to the next level. Patrick says Becky has backed-up every things she’s said she would do since she returned. Deville says Liv is unlike anyone Becky has ever faced and she’s from somewhere no-one has come from before in WWE…Jersey, apparently. Booker T says that Becky has a cloak of invincibility and will be almost impossible to beat.

The final video package of the night is for the main event, the WWE Championship Fatal 5-Way match. Booker T says Brock Lesnar being added to this match changes things but this is a big moment and Big E can make history if he retains. JBL says Bobby Lashley was the powerhouse in the match but now there’s a wild card and more of an alpha dog. Booker says he saw Lashley get off a bus earlier today with a parade of honeys and he hopes he’s focused on this match.
