WWE has had to do a lot of last-minute reshuffling lately. Recent house shows saw the company pull Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch, and Big E due to concerns that they might not be available for the Day 1 pay-per-view. There have been several positive tests recently.

Adam Pearce plays an on-screen authority figure on WWE television. He made short statement on Twitter today regarding the chaos. Scrap Daddy is thankful for those within the company who have been dealing with the outbreak.

“Just a quick note of gratitude:

As COVID continues to be a struggle, I want to publicly thank our staff, crew, and incredible Superstars who drop it all to do whatever it takes to make sure the show goes on.

It’s an honor to work alongside you.”

There will also likely be changes made to tonight’s Raw. WWE wants to protect their main event talent going into Day 1. They have high hopes that the event will turn into a huge annual show along the lines of the Royal Rumble and Survivor Series.

Time will tell if WWE can keep their wrestlers and staff healthy enough for things to go as planned. Every major professional sports league is struggling with the fast-spreading Omicron variant. Adam Pearce is grateful for those who have taken risks and precautions to make sure there is a show at all.
