Drew McIntyre Says It’s Only A Matter Of Time Until He Faces Cesaro

Many consider Cesaro as one of the most criminally underrated WWE Superstars in the history of the company. The Swiss Superman has shown time and time again why he is one of the best in-ring performers in the company. Now it seems Drew McIntyre is determined to face Cesaro.

It came to such a point that even WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley said he would literally get on his knees and beg Vince McMahon to give Cesaro chance in the company.

Cesaro is a multi-time tag team champion and has won the WWE United States Championship as well. However, in his 8-year tenure in WWE, Cesaro has yet to win a world title in the company.

Earlier this month, Cesaro challenged Drew McIntyre to first-ever match between the two veterans. While speaking with Bleacher Report, Drew McIntyre said that a bout between the two is simply just a matter of time.

“Oh yeah, [Cesaro] is definitely on my list/ I have to mention him any chance I get and the fact we haven’t faced each other considering we’ve been on the same rosters over the years. We’ve both wrestled 20 years apiece. We’ve never had a singles match, which is pretty unbelievable. I’ve been seeing a lot of chatter on my social media that he also brought it up this week, so I think it’s only a matter of time before that match happens.”

We will have to wait and see when Drew McIntyre and Cesaro will square off against each other as it will make for a terrific hard-hitting bout that fans would love to see.
