WWE is scheduled to hold events in Toronto, Ontario and Laval, Quebec in Canada next week. However due to the increasing COVID-19 positives, the latter event is presently in doubt. Several provinces are currently under lockdown and the situation is only worsening. As Ringside News exclusively reported, WWE is prepared for every possible scenario in this instance.

PW Insider reports that after this weekend’s marathon of live events and TV tapings, a number of stars and crew members were exhausted. Some of them have now tested positive for COVID-19. Others who were sick are still waiting for their test results.

PWInsider.com has learned from multiple sources that coming out of this past weekend’s loop of live events and TV tapings, a number of talents and staff were feeling run down and some have since tested positive for COVID-19, while others who were feeling sick are still waiting for their test results to return.

Tickets for the Laval event are no longer available but the event is still slated to take place. Friday Night Smackdown on FOX has already been filmed, thus there will be no modifications as a result of the COVID positives.

It’s unclear how prevalent the problems are, but given quarantine rules and the timing of positive COVID-19 testing, there’s no way there won’t be some consequences.
