Kenny Omega’s in-ring skills need no introductions as he is touted as the best bout machine for good reason. His AEW World title reign has been excellent for many fans as he has competed in several high profile matches. It seems Jim Cornette criticized Kenny Omega once again.

Kenny Omega made a name for himself with his incredible matches with top pro wrestlers such as Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi in NJPW. Omega is regarded as one of the all time-greats by many fans and it is not difficult to understand why.

Bryan Danielson and Adam Page put on an instant classic match at AEW Dynamite Winter Is Coming. It ultimately ended in a 60-minute draw, leaving room for a rematch.

While speaking on his podcast, Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette talked about Danielson and Page’s match. While doing so, he also criticized Kenny Omega, stating that Omega is not capable of having such a match.

“So Page is selling like a champ, and Danielson is a heel, and this thing is building still at 40 minutes in and keeps on building. This is what Kenny Omega is not capable of whatsoever. An athletic contest with professional wrestling and not phony videogame bulls*** and a complete and utter lack of logic.

That is exactly why Omega is not the best wrestler in the world, never will be, never has been and that is why wrestlers such as Danielson have a claim to be in that conversation. He is doing what Kenny Omega has not been able to do in two years.”

Kenny Omega is currently taking time off in order to undergo multiple surgeries and heal from all the injuries he suffered over the years. We will have to wait and see when Kenny Omega will make his triumphant return to AEW television.
