Bryan Danielson Will Get Rematch For AEW World Title

AEW presented an impressive event for Winter Is Coming. With only four announced matches, many speculated that the company had surprises in store. Nobody expected an hour-long Broadway to non-finish. That opened the broadcast and fans immediately wanted more. That will happen in time.

During an appearance on Busted Open Radio, Tony Khan confirmed that Daniel Bryan will get a rematch for the AEW World Title. The Bearded GOAT is still #1 contender for Hangman Page’s title and this is a match the AEW President wants to see as well.

“I’ll be honest: I’m excited for what’s coming next between Hangman Page and Bryan Danielson. It’s far from over,” Khan said. “And I’ll tell you this: Bryan Danielson is still the no. 1 contender. It’s a rematch I’m very much excited to see.”

It only makes sense to advertise Hangman vs Danielson II as a no time-limit match. We will have to see how they try to top their first outing, but Winter Is Coming was a big night for Page’s AEW World Title reign.

Bryan Danielson is no stranger to championship titles as he held WWE’s top prize in the past. He is a heel this time around and loving every bit of negative response he receives. Only time will tell if AEW gets another heel World Champion out of the deal.
