Lando Deltoro, the referee who was brutally spiked by Devon “Hannibal” Nicholson’s Blood Hunter character at a recent independent wrestling show, has returned to the hospital. The news was posted to the GoFundMe set up to help with his medical care.

The page is administered by Deltoro’s friend, Kelsie Gibson. The post was updated on the morning of December 14, 2021. It doesn’t sound good, but Gibson is waiting for a further update.

“Update on the morning of December 14th: He is on the way back to the hospital right now. I will not update until I hear the further update. All Lando needs right now is all the support we can give him and just keep praying for him.”

Nicholson went off-script and began to stab Deltoro with a spike after a blading spot gone wrong. Wrestlers who worked the show said nobody knew what was going to happen. One even said that Kevin Sullivan told the wrestlers to “kayfabe the cops.”

As for Hannibal, it’s possible that he will face criminal charges related to the stabbing. He has stated that the incident was all planned and just a part of the show. The wrestling fan base remains skeptical.

A movement started by fans and joined by wrestlers all over the place hopes to have Hannibal removed from the wrestling business entirely. Will Ospreay said that the acts he witnessed in the video are criminal. Time will tell if Devon Nicholson is charged with a crime.
