Jeff Hardy was released from WWE this week, but that did not give the company time to get his image off every piece of merchandise. They are at the Staples Center tonight and that comes with a special t-shirt for the event. Interestingly enough, Hardy is on that shirt.

Hardy was supposed to take on Happy Corbin this week on SmackDown. Then he was released, so that match isn’t happening. He turned down rehab prior to being released as well. His wife has already tweeted out to let fans know that he’s doing okay.

WWE was making plans for Jeff Hardy. He was obviously a featured face on the blue brand and everyone noticed the kind of reactions he was getting. Ringside News exclusively reported that Roman Reigns was game to have a program with Hardy as well.

We will have to see if Jeff Hardy keeps appearing on WWE merchandise, but his instance was unavoidable. They obviously printed up those shirts ahead of time and they’re going to sell them instead of throwing them away.

You can check out an image of the new t-shirt below. It is currently being sold at the Staples Center, but we’ll have to see if they end up selling some online.
