Johnny Gargano Teases The End Of His NXT Run After WarGames

Johnny Gargano has been touted as the face of NXT by many fans due to his excellent feuds with the likes of Tommaso Ciampa and Adam Cole. He has numerous nicknames such as Johnny Wrestling, Johnny TakeOver and more and they are all for good reason. It seems his NXT run is over from the looks of it.

While Johnny Gargano has his fans, he also has his fair share of haters and critics. Despite this, Gargano continues to shine no matter what he does in every feud he is engaged in.

Ahead of NXT WarGames, Tommaso Ciampa strongly hinted that it will be Gargano’s final match on NXT. During the WarGames match, Team Ciampa give it their all, which included several Team DIY moves that certainly made longtime fans happy.

In the end, Team 2.0 won, much to the disappointment of many fans. After the conclusion of the match, Johnny Gargano took to Twitter and teased that his run in NXT has come to an end.

Johnny Gargano also recently signed very short contract extension with NXT. It was also said that Gargano is likely to explore all options after his WWE contract expires. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Johnny Gargano.
