WWE May Bring Back Hall Of Famer For Edge vs Miz Storyline

WWE superstar Edge may be getting some help from a fellow Hall of Famer amid his ongoing angle with The Miz. The past episode of Monday Night RAW saw the “Rated R Superstar” engage in verbal spat with the former WWE champion.

According to PW Insider, the feud might see the inclusion of Beth Phoenix in near future. It seems that WWE are interested in doing another couple vs. couple storyline and want “The Glamazon” to tag with her husband against The Miz and Maryse.

With Maryse once again back with the company on a full-time schedule and Beth open to the idea of wrestling matches in addition to fulfilling her full-time commentary duties on NXT 2.0, it’s only a matter of time before the two get physical in the ring.

The recent interaction between The Miz and Edge saw the latter praise the former for his cocky persona as well as his wrestling accomplishments that included retaining his title against John Cena at WrestleMania 27 in 2011.

It was noted that Edge had little help with the promo and improvised most of the stuff he said including the line that Miz “live rent free in a lot of heads,” a reference to the CM Punk and MJF promo on AEW Dynamite.
