CM Punk had a big line for MJF as he called the Salt of the Earth a “less famous Miz.” This evoked a huge reaction from the Chicago crowd.

MJF had a chance to fire back as he called CM Punk “PG Punk.” He wanted to know what happened to the version of CM Punk that he loved years ago. Then he suggested that Punk might come out there and preach “hustle, loyalty, and respect.” That John Cena reference brought a huge reaction from the crowd as well.

Punk also took a shot from MJF as the Dynamite Diamond ring wearer dropped a “King of Kings” reference. That was an obvious reference to Triple H.

CM Punk didn’t let that go without returning fire. He said that he was selling out Madison Square Garden while MJF was “marking out the Rosie O’Donnell.” He also made a quip about Tony having a daughter that MJF will marry someday, another obvious dig at Triple H and his marriage to Stephanie McMahon.

This was certainly an amazing back-and-forth promo between MJF and CM Punk. It was something special for the Chicago crowd, for sure.
