AEW’s inception came about at Double Or Nothing 2019 and since then, the company has done all it could to provide a product that true lovers of pro wrestling would enjoy. For the most part, they have succeeded, but there is still lot of room for improvement. It seems Eric Bischoff had some words of warning for Tony Khan yet again.

AEW has all the momentum in the world right now thanks to the debuts of CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole to their roster, ensuring that the roster is one of the most stacked in all of pro wrestling.

For the past year or so, AEW has hired several former WWE Superstars including the likes of Malakai Black, Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, Adam Cole and many more. Some fans are upset with AEW signing former WWE Superstars.

While speaking during a Q/A session with AdFreeShows, WWE Hall Of Famer Eric Bischoff talked about Tony Khan’s habit of signing more and more talents to AEW’s roster. Bischoff stated if AEW continues to sign more talents without any long-term plans, then it will backfire in the future.

“We don’t know what AEW’s strategies are. We don’t know what their plans for growth are. There’s so much that we don’t know. That being said, if there is no strategy, and if you’re simply loading up your roster for the sake of building a big roster because somehow having a big roster is your measure of success, then yea, there’s a chance it can backfire.”

AEW will continue to sign a variety of talents, whoever will help benefit the company in the long run. In the end, AEW has proven their investments have been successful, so it remains to be seen who they will sign next.
