Jon Moxley is a former WWE Superstar, but he is also a mainstay on top of AEW now. The former WWE and AEW World Champion is currently in rehab and his former company’s policy might take care of him.

WWE has a policy where they will pay for their former Superstars’ rehab. Since Jon Moxley is a former Superstar then that means he would fall under that umbrella. However, it’s unlikely that they are paying for Moxley’s recovery.

Jon Moxley’s body underwent a lot of wear and tear over the years of him competing in various violent matches. It led to him developing an addiction to Alcohol. Due to this, Moxley was entered into rehab program.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, it was said that WWE would have even paid for Jon Moxley’s rehab as it was the nature of their policy. Meltzer was asked whether they would in a mail-bag question. It’s not likely that they will pay for it. He then stated that WWE has paid for talents when they were in Impact Wrestling.

“Yes, I think, even in fact, they would [pay for Moxley’s rehab] because that’s the nature of the policy. Because they have definitely paid for people when they’ve been in Impact. They haven’t paid for the rehab of anyone in AEW that I know of, but they have definitely paid for Impact, you know, which is the rival promotion.”

Tony Khan previously said that Jon Moxley is doing better every day. Jon Moxley received a lot of support from fans and the entire pro wrestling world. We certainly hope Jon Moxley will be able to conquer his demons and come back a whole new person with a new lease on life.
