Kenny Omega’s in-ring skills need no introductions as he is touted as the best bout machine for good reason. His AEW World title reign has been excellent for many fans as he has competed in several high profile matches. It seems Kurt Angle has a high opinion about Kenny Omega.

Kenny Omega made a name for himself with his incredible matches with top pro wrestlers such as Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi in NJPW. Omega is regarded as one of the all time-greats by many fans and it is not difficult to understand why.

At AEW Full Gear, Kenny Omega defended his AEW World Championship against Adam Page in the main event. After all was said and done, Adam Page defeated Kenny Omega to become the new AEW World Champion.

While speaking on  The Kurt Angle Show, WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle talked about Kenny Omega’s skill as a professional wrestler and his run in the pro wrestling world over the last decade. Angle stated that he is every bit as talented as Rey Mysterio.

“What he’s been able to do the past ten years in wrestling, over in Japan, here in the United States, he was the biggest star and the most talented superstar that never went to WWE. He will go down in history as that if he never does enter WWE. His success, what he’s had in Japan and AEW, phenomenal. I haven’t seen a talent like him in a long time. I would say he’s every bit as talented as Rey Mysterio and he belongs on that upper echelons of talents. One of the greatest workers in the business today.”

Kenny Omega is currently taking time off in order to undergo multiple surgeries and heal from all the injuries he suffered over the years. We will have to wait and see when Kenny Omega will make his triumphant return to AEW television.
