Paige Reacts To WWE Giving NXT Referee Her Name

WWE made a very interesting decision recently when they changed an NXT referee’s name to Paige. Of course, there is already a well-known future WWE Hall of Famer named Paige floating around. She isn’t on television, but Paige is on Twitch and still under contract with Vince McMahon’s company. Now she is reacting in classic Paige style.

It seems that Paige isn’t taking this situation too seriously. After all, she makes a majority of her money as Saraya now. The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion tweeted out a classic Spider-Man finger-pointing meme that everyone knows and loves.

Paige also tagged “@RefPaigeWWE” in the tweet and included one of those LOL emojis that can be read in a couple of different ways. We’ll just say that this is a unique situation.

We’ll have to see what Paige does next in WWE. For some reason they aren’t using her despite the fact that fans still love her. Paige also promised comeback to the ring, but that hasn’t happened yet either.

Maybe one day referee Paige will officiate one of Paige’s matches. Then they can reenact that Spider-Man meme IRL. Until that day comes around, fans will continue wondering why WWE picked that name for their new female referee.
