WWE Gives NXT Referee Paige’s Name

The world of pro wrestling is an unpredictable one as injuries could happen at any time, which might result in wrestlers retiring prematurely. This has happened to WWE Superstars such as Paige. Paige had to retire after she was kicked from the back by Sasha Banks during 2017 WWE MSG Show.

Back in July, Paige gave fans a sign of hope as she made it clear that her neck was feeling awesome after an impressive gym workout. Paige also made it clear that she isn’t leaving WWE.

On top of that, Paige revealed that she isn’t done yet as far as her in-ring return is concerned. Earlier last month, Paige dropped huge hint when it came to making an in-ring return as well.

While her in-ring status is not clear, it seems WWE might have played a rib on the former NXT Women’s Champion. Chloe Christmas, who works as a referee on 205 Live and NXT, will now be known as Paige going forward.

The change was said to have been made within the last couple of days as Paige made the changes to all of her social media accounts. She also took to Twitter and informed fans regarding the change.

Regarding Paige’s return to the squared circle, it is unlikely to happen but that doesn’t mean Paige will give up anytime soon. It remains to be seen if Paige truly will make her return to the ring, as fans would love nothing more than to see her doing what she loves once again.
