Adam Cole is offering his advice to all the wrestlers released lately. After being asked if he had anything to say to the superstars who were let go by WWE and Ring of Honor recently, Cole shared some level-headed veteran wisdom.

Adam’s been in all three companies. He’s one of the wrestlers that has a unique appreciation for ROH. He also knows what it takes to catch the eye of WWE. Cole spent years as one of the top performers in NXT before joining AEW in September. He shared his guidance on Fight Nation.

“First of all, it always breaks my heart to hear stuff, whether it be a company like Ring of Honor, which I love dearly, going on hiatus for a little while. I hope they come back strong… But with the releases. Pretty much everybody who’s in that boat right now where they’re not too sure what they’re gonna do going forward. I’m sure there’s a lot of stress going through their minds, but I want to remind everybody that there’s a reason they got to where they did.”

Cole gave major respect to his former home promotion, Ring of Honor. He told the wrestlers that they were able to reach the heights they did because they are talented. Getting cut doesn’t take away from that.

“Ring of Honor is an incredible company… Your talent spoke for itself. There’s a reason you were able to advance so far within the industry and get so far. Because a lot of people saw a lot of talent in you and a lot of people still do see a lot of talent in you.”

The Super Elite member ultimately said that finding the next step on the road to success will come from patience. Cole has been through the ringer before and it’s not his first rodeo with WWE releases. He stressed self-belief and a good attitude.

“If these people continue to have patience, continue to show the world how good they are. Trust me when I tell you, it’s going to work out.”

Adam Cole debuted with All Elite Wrestling in September. There, he joined his significant other, Britt Baker. He has spent most of his time in the company ticking off Jim Cornette. You can hear Adam’s comments for yourself below.
