Cesaro Wants To Have A Legendary Match Against WALTER

NXT UK champion WALTER has been a dominant force in WWE ever since he made his debut back in January 2019. WALTER is also the longest-reigning champion in modern WWE. Many WWE Superstars want piece of him.

WALTER was a very imposing and dominant champion who has run roughshod in the NXT UK division. He would ultimately lose the title to Ilja Dragunov at NXT TakeOver 36.

As reported earlier, WALTER is set to square off against Friday Night Smackdown star Cesaro during WWE’s upcoming UK tour. This is truly a dream match for many fans and it seems it is for Cesaro as well.

While speaking with Manchester Evening News, Cesaro talked about his upcoming dream match with WALTER. Cesaro went on to explain why he’s very excited about the match.

“He’s somebody I always wanted to face. We have a similar background, coming up through pretty much the same ranks in Europe and then travelling the world. I’m very, very excited that this is going to happen.

I’m even more excited to see how excited the fans are to see that much. The fact that it’s only on live events makes me strangely excited because it just means it’s hopefully a legendary match that lives on in people’s heads. The fact it’s happening in England, in Europe, is very special.

It’s cool to see that England gets something special. I still think we should run a pay-per-view over in England. The fact that they get this match and people are excited for it makes me feel really good.”

With Cesaro being pound-for-pound the stronger Superstar in WWE and WALTER being one of the most dominant in the company’s history, there is no doubt fans will be witnessing an instant classic match. We will have to wait and see who will come out on top in the match.
