WALTER Set For Dream Match On WWE SmackDown United Kingdom Tour

Former NXT UK Champion WALTER lost his title at NXT TakeOver 36 when Ilja Dragunov choked him out. Since then, he’s been missing from WWE television as he didn’t appear on NXT 2.0 nor on the NXT UK show. Fortunately, we will get to see him in the ring again as he is set to work some SmackDown live events on the WWE UK tour.

Starting from November 7, WALTER would work three SmackDown live event shows till November 10 on the upcoming UK tour. WALTER will first perform on the 7th in Liverpool, Leeds on the 8th, Nottingham on the 9th, and Manchester on the 10th.

As for WALTER’s opponent, WWE has confirmed that Cesaro will battle the former NXT UK Champion live on tour. This would certainly be a dream match for many fans and seeing the two technical wrestlers battle it out in the squared circle will be a highlight for many attending the tour.

While Roman Reigns has not been announced for the show, WALTER is being promoted alongside Drew McIntyre and Shinsuke Nakamura. It remains to be seen if this is a sign that WALTER will be called up to the main roster.
