Bray Wyatt’s WWE release shocked fans all over, but there was lot more going on behind the scenes. Wyatt has hinted at telling a few stories once he is able to speak freely about his time in WWE, and he could have a lot to say. Still, some stories might be left out of his shoot interviews.

Reports came out that Wyatt had some issues backstage with creative. The idea that he was protective of his character was also reported. Some fans still pushed back on the idea that WWE would release such a bona fide money maker like Wyatt.

Ringside News spoke to a tenured, well placed, source in WWE about this story. They made it clear that they were not being “an apologist or a WWE defender” before leveling us with their first-hand knowledge of the situation.

Not being an apologist or a WWE defender, just telling you like it is. If you were running a business, and Windham was on your payroll, you’d release him, too. Between his backstage antics and the way he handled himself when making millions and millions while medically flagged, he really deserved to be released.

We will have to see what happens with Bray Wyatt next. Windham was just in Hollywood fielding meetings for projects. He also rejected Impact Wrestling’s deal to come in and wrestle for them.

Perhaps Tony Khan’s company is the front-runner after all as Ringside News exclusively reported on September 7th. Windham’s journey in pro wrestling is far from over, but neither are the stories about why he was released from WWE.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
