WWE released Bray Wyatt from his contract and that was big shock for everyone in the pro wrestling world. WWE’s third party partners were also dumbfounded to discovery that such a valuable Superstar was let go. Pro wrestling fans shouldn’t be too worried about Wyatt’s future, because there is a plan in place.

Ringside News has learned that, unless things change, the current working plan in AEW is for Bray Wyatt to debut for them. He is still under his 90-day non-compete clause with WWE, but we were told by a source that “there have been talks.” No contract can be offered until his 90-day non-compete clause is up.

Windham Rotunda’s WWE non-compete clause won’t expire until the end of October, but AEW Full Gear is right around the corner. As Ringside News reported, the company moved that date to November 13th and a new venue has yet to be announced.

Rotunda could offer a lot to AEW and there are also some obvious connections within the company as well. Many fans are already making memes about Wyatt’s impending arrival, especially after CM Punk, Ruby Soho, Adam Cole, and Bryan Danielson ended up in Tony Khan’s company.

AEW isn’t the only company who is interested in Bray Wyatt. Impact Wrestling is reportedly trying hard to rope him in as well. The Forbidden Door might allow both of those things to happen eventually.

You never know how plans can change in pro wrestling, but if all things go according to plan, Windham Rotunda will soon be All Elite as well.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
