AEW’s very own Dr. Luther has claimed some pretty serious victories over two legendary WWE stars…only he never actually faced these titans of the sport in an actual wrestling ring, if that makes any sense.

It was in a recent tweet that he spoke about victories over both John Cena and Brock Lesnar specifically – victories that can be apparently claimed by association only it would seem. The tweet as well as all responses seemed to be funny in scope, as they were apparently meant, but still, one can certainly assume that kudos are certainly in order regardless.

I mean, a victory over Brock Lesnar isn’t easy to come by. Just ask Roman Reigns, who just barely got by the Beast Incarnate only at Crown Jewel this past Thursday in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Luther’s quote is to the point though…

“Soooo… By Chaos Project math… If I’ve beaten you… That pretty much means I’ve beaten them as well then!!??. Sweet… ALL of my victories against them, I now dedicate to all the Hogdippers!! @deadlockpw”

Luther has been in the industry of professional wrestling for a minute, and of course that means – sarcastically – that he’s been running the ropes for a very long time indeed. He started in the industry in 1988 and has had some incredible battles over the years.

He ran through ECW, WAR and IWA Japan, Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling, WCW and can claim quite the pro wrestling education, as the Canadian (from Calgary, Alberta, Canada) was trained by the legendary Hart family at the family’s Hart Dungeon. Other graduates of the Hart Dungeon include Chris Jericho, Lance Storm, Chris Benoit, Jim Neidhart, The British Bulldog and of course the entirety of the Hart wrestling family.

It was in 2019 that he started working with AEW both in the ring and in the office, which according to Wikipedia, is an unspecified role. Regardless, he is a major influence in the back, and in the industry whose relevance is shown by the reaction to this tweet – especially by fellow countryman, Canadian wrestling legend, Lance Storm. He’s also on YouTube.
