WWE realizes that AEW is competition, no matter how much they try to carry on with their blinders on. AEW is airing another Saturday Night Dynamite and WWE is going to do what they can to draw some attention away from Tony Khan’s company.

Vince McMahon’s company announced that they are airing a special replay presentation of SmackDown tonight. The two-hour show will air on Fox with a special look at WWE Crown Jewel.

The official WWE website included a small write-up about tonight’s special airing of the blue brand’s show.

Brock Lesnar may have been indefinitely suspended by WWE Official Adam Pearce, but you’ll get a second chance to witness The Beast’s rampage on Universal Champion Roman Reigns and The Bloodline when FOX airs an encore presentation of SmackDown with a special look at WWE Crown Jewel tonight at 8/7 C.

It will be interesting to see if SmackDown is able to take away any viewers from AEW’s Saturday Night Dynamite tonight. Obviously, some fans might be more likely to watch Brock Lesnar’s segment that opened the show followed by drama-filled title swap that closed out the broadcast.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
