Roman Reigns is on a roll since his return to the company back at WWE SummerSlam last year. He returned as the Tribal Chief and truly reinvented himself. The change was several years in the making as fans clamored for it for so long.
Roman Reigns has certainly been very dominant as the WWE Universal Champion as he has remained the champion for well over a year now. It is unlikely he will be losing the title anytime soon from the looks of it. He has competed against several top WWE Superstars throughout that time.
The feud between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns is certainly one of the major ones in recent memory. The feud started long back in 2015 and it culminated in several World Title matches as well.
At WWE Crown Jewel, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar gave it their all in order to come up with the win. In the end, the Usos came out and hit a double superkick on Lesnar and Reigns proceeded to hit him with the WWE Universal Title. THis helped Reigns finally beat Lesnar and win the match.
After the conclusion of the match, Paul Heyman took to Instagram and commented on Roman Reigns’ victory. Heyman says a mega-star such as Roman Reigns always over-delivers.
“The Tribal Chief @romanreigns over-delivers … because THAT is what a mega-star does. Every. Single. Time.”
Brock Lesnar has promised to beat Roman Reigns senseless on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown. It remains to be seen how the feud between Lesnar and the Tribal Chief will continue as it is far from over.
