Fans have been waiting with bated breath for a match between Sasha Banks and Trish Stratus, ever since the possibility was teased last year. The idea was first floated by Banks herself when she said she would love to face Stratus at WWE Evolution 2.

This turned out to be more than just wishful thinking. While Stratus has retired from the pro wrestling business, the Hall of Famer seemed willing to make an exception and return to the ring to face Banks. Stratus again mentioned “unfinished business” with Banks, back in December.

On the most recent episode of WWE’s “The Bump,” Banks was asked again about the odds of the fight happening, to which she said that she is willing and ready, but the ball is in Stratus’ court now.

I’m waiting for Trish. That’s all on her. I feel like she’s been dodging me, she’s not been answering my calls. I’m all game, I’m always ready, I stay ready. So, whenever Trish is ready for me, she knows where to find me.
