Jeff Hardy’s booking in WWE has been a huge issue for many. As he’s being used to push other up and coming main roster entrants, Hardy feels it’s time for a change. After Austin Theory received win over him which pissed fans off, Velvet Sky criticized his booking. However, Hardy expressed that he would like to turn heel, and he’s more focused on that than ever.

Hardy appeared on “Out of Character with Ryan Satin” in order to talk about a lot of things in his career. He addressed that while he’s older now and not as fast, his action figures almost always make it worth it. He really appreciates the paint on them, which is a blast to his past.

It is weird because I know I’m not as fast as I used to be, especially since I broke my leg back in 2015. I ended up having knee surgery. I just can’t jump like I used to. Things are a lot slower, but it’s cool, especially when I still see paint on my action figure. That never gets old. That makes all that time painting my face worth it. Then when I see the action figure, I remember that image I had in my mind that day before I brought it to life.

The better half of the former tag-team Hardy Boyz said that it’s time for him to give back. However, he urged the need for an innovative darker version of him to take over the ring. While saying that he doesn’t know how much time he has left in the ring, he needs to do something revolutionary.

I’m just doing my job. It’s my time to give back, but I think there’s something that I have to figure out as well and is kind of needed because I don’t know how much longer I’m going to be wrestling, almost like a darker side of Jeff Hardy I think, needs to come out. I haven’t figured it out yet, but I’ve had these crazy ideas. I wrote down a few of them. It’s my time to focus more on the character stuff instead of the high flying moves, the TLC matches, and all of that stuff. I think there’s something that’s waiting to be unleashed within me.

Jeff Hardy has been switching it up in WWE for a while. He has been teasing the return of his Willow character, with possible new mask. While the veteran daredevil said that he has never really felt uncomfortable with anything WWE has pitched him, his eventual heel turn is much needed regardless.
