WWE is not ashamed to write a storyline for a character that mirrors their personal life. Jeff Hardy is no exception as he saw his personal demons dragged out of the closet on many occasions. The company wrote an entire storyline about his addiction issues that culminated in a bar fight with Sheamus. He apparently uses that as his therapy.

While speaking to Inside The Ropes, Jeff Hardy discussed those subjects that hit close to home. He said the company asks whether he is comfortable going in that direction, and then it’s off to the races.

“It’s just an idea. It all starts as a concept and naturally they ask if you are comfortable with that and for me, all that stuff is like therapy. It’s like being honest with the world, people that provided me with an incredible living over the years, you know, my fans, the WWE Universe, so yeah I am open-minded to anything. If I feel comfortable with it, I roll with it, man. I’ve never felt uncomfortable with anything they’ve ever pitched to me,”

We’ll have to see what’s next for Jeff Hardy. He recently trended on social media as fans called out for WWE to treat him better. They obviously don’t like seeing him chase the 24/7 Title.

Jeff Hardy doesn’t seem to take it personally. He was quite open about how he just shows up every week to see what they have for him next. It’s good to know he’s game for anything, even if those subjects get a little personal.
