Awesome Kong Announced For Induction Into Impact Wrestling Hall Of Fame

Awesome Kong had a short run with AEW, but she departed to film GLOW. That show was sadly cancelled, and then the pandemic wrecked everyone’s plans. Kong never returned to AEW, but she did come back to Impact Wrestling for one special night, a company where she made a majority of her memories in the pro wrestling business.

During the Knockouts Knockdown event, it was announced that Awesome Kong will be inducted into the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame. She also had an opportunity to cut speech while receiving this big honor.

In 2017, Gail Kim mentioned how Awesome Kong needs to be in the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame. That is exactly what happened as Kong’s former company gave her a huge honor tonight.
