AJ Lee Receives Interest From Another Company For On-Screen Return

AJ Lee surprised the pro wrestling world when it was revealed that she will serve as the new executive producer for WOW Women of Wrestling’s reboot. This was quite a surprise for a lot of people, because she left the pro wrestling world in 2015.

Lee has teased that she could technically wrestle again as well, but that hasn’t happened yet. She enjoys this current generation of female wrestlers and her duties for WOW Women of Wrestling will not include her getting phyical.

Fightful Select reports that it is still unclear exactly what AJ Lee’s duties will be with WOW Women of Wrestling. The report went on to explain that another pro wrestling company has expressed interest in having her in as long as she’s up for an on-screen role.

We’re not told of any specific duties for AJ as of yet, but already heard from one other promoter interested in booking her on screen if she’s open to a return.

AJ Lee’s return to pro wrestling came just after CM Punk, her husband, returned as well. We’re uncertain if one had anything to do with the other, but it was reported that WOW Women of Wrestling and AJ Lee’s discussions started in August.

Even if AJ Lee doesn’t get involved in any more in-ring action, she is still plenty busy. The former Divas Champion is published author and also working on many more projects in the pipeline. Only time will tell if she has the desire to make a return to the ring.
