Jim Cornette is not afraid to speak his mind about AEW. He has done so in brutal fashion in the past, and this is no exception. If you will recall, he recently fired big shots at Lio Rush, and he wasn’t done yet.

While speaking on Jim Cornette’s Drive-Thru, he went into Bryan Danielson and said that he doesn’t know how to brawl with any intensity. He said that the action in the ring looked sloppy and it was all just to get a big “schmooze” at the end, which was only for a feel-good moment in the end, but it didn’t mean anything.

“The one thing that Danielson is not able to do with these people apparently is prevent the plethora and infestation of afterwards. Immediately when the match is over with, all the heels come out, all the babyfaces come out, and they get in a really sloppy phony fight. They’ve done a bunch of sh*t on the indies, but they’ve never done the show-closing brawls or big schmoozes in the ring in the territory days when it had to mean something, and you’d get your ass blistered if it didn’t, or your sh*t didn’t look good or whatever.”

Bryan Danielson and Jim Cornette might not see eye-to-eye, but that’s fine by both of them, because they will keep doing their thing. Bryan Danielson is still one of the top names in AEW, in search for another match against Kenny Omega; and Jim Cornette will keep watching AEW so he has fodder for his podcasts.
