WWE is holding another draft and that action will start tonight. It turns out that the company has some major work to do in the hours prior to going live on FOX when the 2021 WWE Draft will start.

According to a report in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the 2021 WWE Draft is not set in stone yet. FOX and USA Network have been told about “key” talent who will be on their shows, but a majority of the roster is not locked down yet.

It was also noted that although NXT is planned to be a part of the draft, that could also change at a moment’s notice.

Other than the top picks that FOX and USA require, the draft isn’t set and NXT is as of right now going to be a part of making shows fresh. “We’ve been told NXT looks to be a big part of the draft but that could change in a moment’s notice.”

It should be noted that WWE has lied to FOX in the past about who they would get in the Draft. FOX aired commercials to promote SmackDown coming to their network and they featured stars who were not drafted to the blue brand when everything was said and done.

We will continue monitoring this ongoing situation throughout the day as more information is made know.
