WWE is holding another draft, starting on Friday for SmackDown. The second night of the draft will take place on next Monday’s RAW, and the main roster will likely never look the same again. NXT will also lose some big stars in the process.

NXT 2.0 is upon us, but some key players in developmental will have a short run with the rebranded show. WWE might not tell those NXT Superstars who is getting called-up to the main roster, but a few of them will bid farewell to the WWE Performance Center as they make a trade for the main roster.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that “a lot of people” from NXT are likely to make their way to RAW and SmackDown when everything is said and done.

“Right now, NXT – there’s supposed to be people drafted from NXT and to freshen up both brands. This person who said that said this could also change completely tomorrow but they’re under the impression that there will be a lot of people from NXT. I don’t want to say a lot but many people from NXT. The NXT guys are supposed to be a significant part of it.”

NXT just introduced many new Superstars and they have even more to come. Bron Breakker and others will likely take over for the main roster call-ups who leave NXT. It also makes us wonder which NXT Superstars Vince McMahon will deem as ready for the main roster.
